Summary of Impact: Between 12:00 and 19:00 UTC a subset of customers may have experienced issues with signatures not being applied correctly due to incomplete data returned during AAD syncs

Root Cause: Microsoft experienced issues with their directory infrastructure which resulted in a synchronisation occurring which did not sync every object in every tenancy. Exclaimer Cloud performs directory synchronisations twice daily, the Microsoft issue began after the 00:00 UTC sync had completed, so only the 12:00 UTC synchronisation was affected.

Mitigation: Once Microsoft confirmed the majority of services had been restored Exclaimer performed a manual directory resync for all tenancies which completed successfully.

Next Steps: We are working to understand how we can report on and monitor synchronisations which complete successfully but due to issues upstream complete with an unexpected number of objects.
